HOLA!!!

September 1, 2008

BAUTISMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rafael, our GOLDEN investigator, is going to be baptized next Sunday! We are so excited. He is golden because he is the most prepared person I have met while on my mission. He is so cool and he had the light of Christ the first time we met him! We are so excited to see him baptized and take his first step towards eternal life! I love baptisms. I am so excited! He's going to be a great example for Arturo, who MIGHT get baptized then too, but we are still waiting to hear back from him after his weekend out of town. Hopefully Satan didn't have too much time to really work on him!
Thanks for sending my glasses! That was FAST considering they were delivered to the wrong apartment. I think the mail man only looked at the paper you filled out and you forgot to put the apartment number on the paper, then someone else wrote like a 415 or something circled which I can only imagen was for PO purposes! I still need to go see someone to adjust them for me (even though they work just fine); so I've only been wearing them right before bed, but it's wonderful to see again in those minutes!
Satan and I are not friends. This last week I've been fighting a cold and I'm pretty sure he is the reason why. He's always trying to find ways to keep us missionaries from working. Little does he know that it's going to take more than a cold to stop me from working! No worries though, I am recovering nicely.
How is your missionary work activity going? I got you letter and I was SO
excited to hear Kim and Kody have been inviting friends to church and seminary! Way to go! And mom, you are not dumb or lame and do not make me frustrated when I read your letters. I know you are trying and as long as you are following the spirit, that's ok. Just make sure you continue to take those small opportunities when they come up! Dad, what's your missionary effort? I have no doubt you are doing them but I haven't heard? Have you all done my list idea and fasted and prayed about it. Maybe you should all fast together this Sunday since it's fast Sunday! Fasting and Prayer always go together! Katelyn and Jason? Any news on your end?
Well, my time is up and I'm out of things to write anyway. Hope you are all doing well and I hope everyone has a good week! I love you all THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS................................................................. Much and More!
Para Siempre
Hermana Bradfield
P.S. Next week are transfers and they are later in the week so pday isn't until Thursday or Friday!

Buenas Dias Noticias - Hola Familia! Another week has come and gone and we are super busy. Rafael is preparing for his baptism next Sunday, 7th of September. He is such a cool guy. He is one of the most elect people I have met so far in my mission. We prayed with him about his baptism date and he received his answer immediately. We are so excited for him and have been busy teaching him all of the commandments and getting everything ready for the baptism. He is so cool and he's going to be a strong member in the church; and he'll be a really good support for Arturo when he gets baptized.

This morning for Labor Day, our district plus Elders Groshong, Garrett and Willie (recent convert), Gilbert, Sister Acosta and Kim (her little girl who has fallen asleep on my shoulder as I write) all drove up to Big Trees National Park. It was cool, something I can say that I've done once; it was fun going with our big group. The trees are HUGE there! Something everyone should see once in their life. One of the tree trunks was dated back to around 300 A.D. It felt good to be back in the mountains again. It smelled so good!

Transfers are coming up again. Wow, time flies! Transfers are going to be on Thursday or Friday (or Friday and Saturday.) So next time I write won't be until Thursday or Friday. So, until then, I hope you all have a great week and a half.

Para Siempre,
Hermana Bradfield
