Things have been just fabulous out here in the mission. Teaching so many new people. Carla and Rafael are changing their baptism date. They weren't ready for tomorrow so they are praying to know whether or not to be baptized Dec. 7 or 14. They are a really great family, but we do worry about them a little. It's really hard for them to remember to read and that's something so important! Anyway, we'll keep you posted.
We are teaching another lady named Clara. She is WAY awesome. She's come to church twice with her friend Hermana Sanchez and we just went over to teach her for the first time this week. She is one of those people that has a true and sincere desire to really search for the truth and is anxiously searching for it. She is way cool and she has agreed to a conditional baptism she is just waiting to get an answer. I think we are going to pray with her tomorrow!
This morning we started out with a Basketball Round Robin. It was kinda fun but there are a few Elders that get a little too competitive and that can be frustrating at times, especially for one such as I who is just in it for fun! It was getting a little intense that I was starting to get mad. No worries. I held my own and behaved myself ;) Anyway, the Elders decided the Sisters needed to be incharge of the "Trophy" So Sister Dastrup and I made a quick run to the 99 cents store and picked up some foam Spider-Man puzzle things and wrote on the back of them WINNER and other stuff and hung them on strings for medals and told the winning team that they won because they worked "together" as a team. That's what happens when we have a last minute trophy idea. They all seemed pleased though!
We are getting ready to eat with the Hixson family so I better go. Later tonight we are going over to another members house. Her name is Bonnie and we love Bonnie. She's dating a non member and he is really funny. His name is John and he loves the sisters! Who wouldn't? ;) Anyway, enough said!
Happy Thanksgiving and tell everyone I said HI and that I love them all! Have a good week. Until next Tuesdays and Transfers!

Love Always,
Hermana Bradfield

Buenas Dias Noticia y Feliz Dia De Gracias!!! - So this letter is going to be a double deal since next Tuesday is transfers. Happy Thanksgiving! Today we have begun our day with a Round Robin Basketball Tournament. My team hasn't been doing so well, but you win some and you lose some. Today should be a lot of fun. We are making a video, with the help of a member, with all the missionaries singing a "potato" song that Sister Dastrup's family sent to her. It's going to be really fun!

This week has been AWESOME. Rafael and Carla aren't getting baptized tomorrow. They weren't ready, but they are praying about December 7th or 14th. We really like them a lot. Other than them, we pretty much dropped all our other investigators; but these last three days, we've been so blessed for it. We've found and started teaching three families and 4-5 other people. It's so great!

December 2, 2008 - Hola! So last week was a little crazy. Thanksgiving was super busy and distracting, so not much was written in my newsletter. Well, Thanksgiving was great! We played b-ball and made our movie. It was great fun! We watched the movie and it was pretty funny. Not all of the elder's came or stayed, but the ones that did were troopers and we even got one of the elder's investigators to stay and sing along with the "zone."

So transfers came...and they went...and we're staying together again....Haha! We are so happy about that. Hermana Dastrup's b-day is this Saturday, December 6, and Christmas and the new year is coming up. I wouldn't want to spend it with anyone other than Sister Dastrup; but we both feel this will be our last.

I love this time of year! It's my favorite with all the lights and everything. There are some intense Christmas people in the great land of Stockton! The only problem for the Spanish missionaries, during this time of year, is that we can't rely on the Christmas lights, on the houses, as a sign that someone is Spanish. Oh well! The Lord will guide us in other ways as well.

We are working with so many great families right now. One lady, Clara, may be baptized this weekend. She prayed to know if the church was true, and about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith; and she received her answer. Now she is praying to know if she should be baptized this Saturday.

I've been working on trying to read through "Jesus the Christ." It's slow going, but I've already learned a lot. It's so important for us to realize our relationship to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. God loves us so much. He gave us His son (John 3:16.) Through Jesus Christ, all of us can find eternal life. I am so grateful for my Savior. I love this time of year and the opportunity we have to focus on and celebrate the love that God has for us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

I hope you all have a great week. I love you all muchisimo!

Para Siempre,
Hermana Bradfield
